Diamond Academy’s Sports Day is a favorite event that brings together students,
parents, and teachers for a day of fun and community. It features both competitive and
team activities, ensuring everyone enjoys themselves and feels accomplished. While
friendly competition is welcomed, the main goal is participation and inclusion.
Activities are tailored to suit different age groups. Kindergarten students take part in
traditional races, color-sorting games, numerical challenges, hula hoop activities, and
soccer games. Elementary students engage in events such as traditional races,
hopscotch, tug of war, obstacle courses, and team sports like soccer, basketball and
volleyball. High school students take the initiative to organize and manage basketball
and soccer leagues, demonstrating leadership, teamwork, and organizational skills.
These student-led leagues run throughout the academic year, featuring regular
matches, team practices, and inter-class competitions.
At Diamond Academy, we are dedicated to creating a supportive and engaging
environment where every student can succeed. While some events have winners, the
focus is on making the day fun and rewarding for everyone. We aim to promote
academic success, physical health, healthy competition, and strong social skills to help
students thrive in all areas of life.
